Jyelah began with Emu Bush, a native Australian plant treasured by First Nations peoples for thousands of years and by our family for generations.

The knowledge of this plant was passed down through our grandmothers, and today it sits at the heart of every jar of Black Magic Balm.

We blend our Emu Bush with Australian Jojoba, Grapeseed, Castor Oil and Aloe Vera to create a rich, protective balm for skin that needs some serious comfort.

Dry, tight, flaky, itchy or just completely over it? This is the jar our family reaches for.

What's in it?

• Emu Bush — The heart of Black Magic Balm. A treasured native botanical and part of the knowledge passed down through our grandmothers. It's the ingredient that started Jyelah and remains at the centre of what we do.
• Castor Oil — The serious moisturiser. Rich and conditioning, helping soften and comfort very dry skin.
• Candelilla Wax — Creates a protective layer over the skin to help lock in all that beautiful moisture and stop thirsty skin from losing it again.
• Grapeseed Oil — Lightweight, nourishing and naturally rich in antioxidants, helping condition and soften the skin.
• Australian Jojoba Oil — Skin loves this one. Its composition is similar to the skin's natural sebum, making it a beautiful oil for moisturising and softening without that overly heavy feeling.
• Soybean Oil — Helps condition and soften dry skin while supporting the balm's rich, smooth feel.
• Aloe Vera — The cool, calm one. Helps soothe and comfort dry, irritated-feeling skin.

How to use:

Warm a small amount between your fingertips and gently massage into anywhere your skin needs some extra love.

Use it on dry patches, hands, feet, elbows, knees, lips, face, body or fresh tattoos. A little goes a surprisingly long way.

Reapply whenever needed.

Jyelah Tip:

This is one of those products where there really isn't one way to use it.

Keep the 50ml in your handbag, the 100ml in the bathroom and, if your household keeps stealing yours, you already know why we made the 250ml.

Good to know:

Black Magic Balm is hand poured in small batches, so you may notice slight variations from batch to batch. That's part of the beauty of a product made this way rather than mass produced.
